Parent / Caregiver Breakfast Social
(Fist Day of School)
A time for parents/caregivers to connect, after school drop off on the first day of school, at a nearby location.

Back to School Parade
(First Friday of School Year)
The Burnsville High School Marching Band leads the entire school in the annual parade. Communities dress in different themes, friends and families line up on the curbs and a fun time is had by all! After the parade students are treated to an encore performance by the BHS Marching Band in the upper parking lot.

Hornet Hop (School Dance)
DJ music, dancing, silly games and food make for a great night of fun! It’s a wonderful time for kids and adults alike to socialize and meet new friends.

Scavenger Hunt
A fun family activity to search the school grounds for posters of Buzz,

Family Fun Nights
PTO sponsors a relaxed night of fun for families to get to know one another. This may include a movie, games or other activity.
December & March
SMART Fair Social
A chance for HB Families to connect over cookies and lemonade. This event is held in conjunction with the SMART Fair.

International Night
Food and entertainment with an International flair and a great opportunity to learn about the different cultures right here in our school. Students and families share treasures, photos, traditional dress and traditional entertainment from around the world. Food is donated by many generous community sponsors

Twins Game Family Outing
Join other Harriet Bishop families for a fun night of Minnesota Twins baseball!
