Yearbook – Sales Coordinator (this year), Designer (next year)- Linda will continue to fill by default, next year we won’t have a designer. Can make plug at Family Fun Night. Liz will connect Celeste with Nikki to talk about what that would entail.
December Treat Week – week of Dec.16- week of Dec.16- find someone to coordinate, no one has volunteered yet. Christina might be able to help with getting the message out. Liz can email volunteer list.
January Family Fun Night (BINGO) – Jan. 24 @ 6:30-8pm – Jan. 24 @ 6:30-8pm- could go out to volunteer list to lead. Need for flyer, prizes, popcorn, bingo cards, a few volunteers. We have leftover candy (and prizes) from Hornet Hop that could be used as prizes.
Read-A-Thon – Mar. 10-28, planning starts now – Start looking for corporate sponsors soon. Some prep work can start after the new year, but busiest time is during event. Looking for someone to take on the lead, Liz can help co-lead or show the ropes.

Hornet Hop – Recap- attendance 662 (adults and children) relatively on par with previous years. Survey went out to volunteers, feedback was positive overall. Candy donations worked out well, bottle donations- didn’t have enough for everyone to play twice, but ended up with extras. Pizza timing- some came late, but wasn’t a big deal, and perfect amount. Families were happy about being able to attend a free event at school. Planning group went well. $742 due in reimbursements. Went well having silent auction upstairs, could do more to drive traffic up. Might need to rethink middle school volunteers- how to ensure kids know where to go etc. Celeste would prefer not to use glitter tattoos next year due to mess, and application.

Yearbook Update- Kemmetmueller, no minimum purchases. Purchase price is 13.5 and sell for 15 to cover yearbook, cash/check or can be purchased online but with additional fees. Sales will start after holidays. Switch has made it less time consuming for sales coordinator.

Grant Requests Recap- we approved 3 new grants, English learners. Fifth grade Biz Town- still had questions. We did confirm that PTO just covers bus portion, we just need a request to come in so we can approve. It is already in budget.
Review 3rd Grade Grant Request

(Buses for U of M women’s hockey game)- new request, would just be for bussing. Ken has requested tickets from the organization, but waiting to hear back.

PTO Amazon account- we have an Amazon account, no taxes, not a Prime membership.

School Flyers- how to ensure that messages are getting out. Would SeeSaw be better?
Grade Level Advisory – we could start approaching individual grades for immediate needs. Loop Keralyn in.
December Newsletter submission due date: Nov. 25 (Ann) – mention all volunteer opportunities, restaurant fundraisers, Jan Family Fun Night, thank people for help at Hornet Hop. Google Form for feedback from attendees. Thank donors from Silent Auction.
Wreck it Rage room does fundraisers- something to look into
Tickets for Kids- PTO cannot request, but schools can.
