June-August 2018

• School Supplies order forms sent to families (School Toolbox)
• August 23, 4-7 pm New Family Night (Intro PTO, encourage volunteering)
• August 29, Meet Your Teacher (PTO sign-ups, order spirit wear t-shirt)

*Need to decide: Do we want to recruit for Birthday with a Book for the school year?

September 2018

• 4th – First day of school (K starts 9/6)
• 7th – School Parade/PTO freeze hand out
• 13th – Back to School Night
• 18th – PTO Meeting (ask for volunteers for the grant committee)
• 28th – Fun Family Night (movie night)

October 2018

• 1st – Professional Day (no students)
• 3rd – Deadline for fall grant requests
• 3rd – 12th – Grant Committee to meet
• 16th PTO Meeting (vote on grants)
• 18-19 MEA
• 26th – Hornet Hop/Spirit wear sale/silent auction

November 2018

• 1st, 8th – Conferences
• 7-9th – Scholastic Book Fair/Fall Conferences & Teacher Prep
• 12th – Veteran’s Day Program (PTO does not do anything for this)
• 15th – Give to the Max! Day
• 20th – PTO Meeting
• 22-23 – Fall Beak

December 2018

• 7th – Family Fun Night (movie night #2?)
• 24-1/1 – Winter Break

January 2019

• -Box Tops Contest (typically late Jan but can be decided by coordinator/PTO during the year)
• 15th – PTO Meeting
• 21st–22nd – MLK Jr Day (no staff/students) and professional day

Nomination period begins for the 2019 ISD One91 Community of Excellence Awards

February 2019

• 1st – Breakfast with a Book
• 19th – PTO Meeting
• 27-3/1 – Book Fair (Usborne)/Spring Conferences

March 2019

• 1st – Teacher prep day
• 7th – Science Fair Judging (PTO feeds/hydrates the judges, supplies ribbons)
• 8th – SMART Fair/Expo/PTO Social (cookies/ice cream)
• 11th – Calendar Committee Meeting/Professional Day
• 15th – Read-a-thon Day
• 19th – PTO Meeting (vote on calendar/election details/recruitment for next year)
• 22nd – Pep fest/thank you to donors
• 25-29 – Spring Break

April 2019

• 12th – Family Fun Night
• 13th – Service Day Saturday (PTO-supported Service Club event)
• 16th – ISD One91 Community of Excellence Awards (anticipated) – no school activities allowed
• 23rd – PTO Meeting (moved to 4th Tues for awards)

May 2019

• -Twins Game (may occur at the end of April)
• 17th – International Night (?)
• 21st – PTO Meeting
• 24th – No School
• 27th – Memorial Day

June 2019

• 6th – Last Student Day
